Christian Women's Writer and Speaker
This site is for you who are thinking is this all there is while struggling with your roles as a wife, mother, friend... I have asked myself that very question and I now know that yes, there is so much more. This is where I should convince you to trust me because I have what it takes to teach you and lead you, right? Or share with you this phenomenal story of overcoming adversity. In fact, my stories are not extraordinary and I do not feel qualified in the least.
My confidence comes from the realization that God designed my family and He chose me to be my children’s mother and a wife to my husband. He knew that day in and day out, I would screw up and He chose me anyway. Are there other women who would have made a better wife and mother for my family? Some days I certainly think there must be, but God in all His wisdom knew that I was the best woman for the job.
I hope this site will encourage you to pursue an intimate relationship with Christ. As I have grown in my relationship with Christ and in my understanding of biblical living, I have become better equipped in my roles as a wife, mother, and friend. I pray this site will be a blessing to you and most importantly will be glorifying to God.
Burdens Too Heavy To Bear
Life does not always work out the way we hope; we will suffer losses that are too much to bear alone.
This Means War!
I did not declare war, but I am in the midst of a battle.
Fear is a skilled author of plausible excuses, but they rob us of the gifts God has in store for us.
I've started blogging again. Do Not Give Up... Look for new content on the first and third Friday of the month.

Do you feel unqualified to fulfill a commitment you’ve made? If so, then you will relate to my story about sharing a devotion on contentment while in a season of discontent.

A Personal Sacrifice
A Joyful Heart is good medicine.
We all need a dose of joy now and again, and it is great to have a joy-friend. A joy-friend is a great mentor.
God gives us joy-friends to help us, but as a rule of thumb, He wants us to come to Him. He wants to be our source of joy.
Prayers For All Believers Everywhere
Prayer for one another strengthens our faith, and public prayer provides a powerful witness to those around us.
Why Are You So Afraid?
What exactly am I afraid of, what can publishers, editors, and agents do to me? Because the Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. I will say with humble confidence, “I am a writer, called by God.”
Lost and Found: Trusting God With the Lost
Knowing how God cares enough to watch over a pair of sandals on a public bench, and can employ a new friend to care for a rod & reel won’t He much more care to guard and protect our loved ones that seem lost forever?
Lost and Found: A Resurrection Story
Mary and the other women had been given the most precious experience any of us can possibly receive. The risen Lord who saves us from our sins was standing in front of them and they almost missed it because they didn’t trust God.
The Most Important One
Making Christ my most important priority isn’t easy. Desire alone is not enough; developing an intimate relationship with my Lord and relating to Him as a dear friend is something I realize I need to carefully attend to.
Come To Me... And You Will Find Rest For Your Souls. In the past, I’ve never maintained my morning devotion time while on vacation. In hindsight, it seems absurd not to put God first when the primary reasons for vacationing is to be refreshed and renewed.
I Am What I Am. My past has been a roadblock to God’s call to “Write”. I’ve allowed my past to define me. I’ve failed to trust that through the gift of Christ’s redeeming grace God can and will empower me to fulfill His calling.
January 27 Be Careful, Don't Fall. I thought I had been standing firm in my faith. Yet I quickly fell into sin. I frantically tried to relieve my fears in my own strength and with the world’s wisdom. Yet I was powerless to stop the stomach churning descent.
October 15 Be Still... Know God's Peace. A devotion written for the Our Focus For Hope blog. Discovering the key to connecting with the peace of God, which transcends all understanding.
